Apex child seriously injured after car crashes into home

On Behalf of | Dec 21, 2017 | Car Accidents

Cary residents feel safe and happy when they are in their homes and enjoying their families. But, a recent accident in Apex shattered a family’s peace of mind.

A mom and her two daughters were at home recently when a car came crashing through one daughter’s bedroom wall. The mom was unpacking groceries in the kitchen when she heard a crashing noise and realized a car had crashed into her home. She ran to try and find her 4-year-old daughter, who was in her bedroom trapped under the car’s front end. She was transported to a local hospital for her injuries. The driver of the car was also taken to the hospital. Authorities are investigating the car accident and have yet to determine if charges will be filed against the driver.

No one expects they will be injured in a car crash when they’re in their home. But, when a family is affected by an accident, they may not know what to do or where to turn. A legal professional who is skilled in personal injury can help their client find out what happened to cause the accident. If the accident was caused by negligence, a victim may be eligible for compensation for their injuries and other damages.

An accident can seriously affect a family and their financial and emotional health. Those who are injured have the legal right to hold negligent parties responsible for their mistakes.
