In these situations, a family may want to speak with a legal professional who is skilled in personal injury. An attorney can visit the accident scene and interview witnesses, review police reports and get all the information necessary to help the family figure out what happened. Compensation may be available for medical expenses, pain and suffering and other damages.
An accident caused by a drunk driver could have been prevented if that driver would have not chosen to drive drunk. It is important to hold these negligent drivers responsible for their actions.
